Trouble with electric brakes on 1999 Dutchmen Lite travel trailer?

Trouble with electric brakes on 1999 Dutchmen Lite travel trailer – (original owner) I went on one trip this summer and thought my brake control box was giving out intermittent signals (adjusted several times during the trip). Got back from our trip OK and have since repacked my wheel bearings (maintenance). Everything looks good. I took it for a test drive and one wheel on the camper is getting “hot” (driver rear). I adjusted the nut a few times and it still gets hot after short tows to test. I changed my 1999 installed brake control box in my 2007 truck, thinking that it may be failing because the light on the box would get dim, with one that has different indicating lights. One light (on the new brake control box) is indicating that there’s a short somewhere. Could this be the brake box on the camper itself or the rear brake or what else?

Additional: I just jacked the camper up, spun the wheels, then hit the brake and the wheels (all four)keep spinning. There’s a humming(buzzing) sound coming from the driver side (only) set of wheels on the camper when the brake is applied. The electrical from the truck tests fine.
